Just wanted to post a little win - I set a goal to build a house for myself after 3 airbnbs... 1. We finished up our new build in December and our second guests just checked out after a 3 week stay! 2. Our GC finished rehabbing our property that'll sleep 12-14 guests a couple of days ago. This was a giant rehab including new roof, septic, hvac, water tank & softener, plumbing, electric, paint inside & out, flooring, kitchen, bathrooms and the list goes on. It was fun and we've built a ton of equity, but rehabs that big are too stressful for me to handle again still have to finish up our pickleball court, mini-golt course and tiki hut etc, too! 3. Bought a rehabbed vintage airstream camper last week that we will be renting out after some final touches. This is projected to return about 120% per year Now that we're at 3 (kind of), we just closed on some land to build our dream home! The architect is drawing up our first set of plans now!
