Hello FasterFreedom University! I am grateful to announce that I got my first property contract today. This is the 2 unit apartment and is located in Flint's East Village, Michigan. It needs cosmetic work which perfectly first my buy box. My plan is to make this my primary residence because my lease is up in 2.5 months. While living there, 1 can do the updates and upgrades. 1 am in the process of answering these two questions: 1. Does anyone recommend FHA or conventional loan for the purchase? 2. It so, l asked my employer to pay me on 1099 because I could write off my taxes. When I was speaking to a mortgage broker today, he said banks do not lend to 1099.
